It is a floating water container system which is placed in a wider water body such as lakes, pool or ponds.
It mainly comprise of a number of inflatable tubes / buoyant units, nylon rope, polythene (HDPE) bag, rain water collection pvc sheets, Mosquito net, anchor weight etc. The buoyant units are tied together to make a ring of required diameter and the HDPE bag mouth side rim ( bottom is closed ) is fixed at the top edge of inflatable/buoyant units so that once it is fixed on all units, it will become a container with a rib of floating units. The height of the HDPE bag is realized in such a way that it should not exceed the depth of the water body where the floating chamber is to be placed. Rain water is collected in the HDPE bag at the rainy time. If required wide catchment area we can place pvc corrugated sheets at the surrounding sides of buoyant units with suitable buoyant supports to hold it float. The floating-chamber is kept in a steady position using an anchor weight system. The floating water chamber after getting filled with rain water, or from any other source, can be very easily towed to the shore or any other destination. This feature is accomplished since the density of water inside the chamber and the surrounding area is the same. The mouth of the chamber is covered with mosquito net for protection against mosquitoes as well as floating impurities. Since the water collected in the floating-potable water chamber is physically separated from the surrounding water, it may be placed in water of virtually any degree of purity.
